Vancouver, BC - Astral Mining Corporation (TSX-V AA, AA.WT) ("Astral" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has acquired a 100% interest in the 1854 hectare (Ha) "Ridge" Claim group, located 4km east of the JJ Main discovery zone at Astral's Jumping Josephine gold property in southern British Columbia. The four contiguous claims are wholly surrounded by Astral's Blueberry and Columbia-Rossland claim groups and bring the total area controlled by Astral at Jumping Josephine to 36,017 Ha in 82 contiguous claims and seven crown granted claims.

In order to gain a 100% interest in the four claims, Astral must issue 50,000 shares to the vendor, Mineworks Ventures Inc. The vendor retains a Net Smelter Return (NSR) Royalty of 2.5%. Astral may purchase 1.5% of this royalty at any time for the sum of $2,000,000, leaving the vendor with the remaining 1% NSR Royalty. Agreement is subject to acceptance and approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.
