HONEYMOON - GOLD, SILVER & COPPER PROPERTY

The Honeymoon Property is within the Kootenay Terrane, underlain by rocks of the Palaeozoic Eagle Bay Assemblage and intruded by phases of the mid-cretaceous Baldy Batholith. The property covers 18,761 hectares and contains numerous mineralized showings, soil geochemical anomalies and limited historical trenching and drilling. Parts of the property were optioned by Teck Corporation in May 1999. Exploration during that year targeted a large vein system exposed at the Cam Gloria showing which returned best trench results of 2m averaging 9.26 g/t Au and diamond drill results including 1m grading 9.57 g/t Au and 128.4 g/t Ag (BC Assessment report No 26215). 

The Honeymoon project is located 20km southeast of Yellowhead Mining Inc's Harper Creek Copper Deposit that contains an estimated Indicated Resource of 569 million tonnes containing 4,010 million lbs Cu*. Past producing mines in the immediate area include Samatosum Mountain (Minfile 082M 244), and the historic Homestake (Minfile 082M 025) and Windpass (Minfile 092P 039) mines**.

Astral is currently compiling surface sample data including soil sampling, grab and channel sampling from across the property as collected by the vendor. The 2011 exploration season will include field checks of existing showings and trenching designed to confirm targets in anticipation of a fall drilling program.

The Honeymoon property is located in close proximity to the Astral's Barriere Ridge property 6km to the west. Astral intends to explore both properties in conjunction.
